Within a few days of my previous blog post, I ended up finding and scheduling an appointment with a gastroenterologist for today, which I drove 1.5 hrs each way to. I called during a flare up, at which I had red blood in my stool (about a week ago),  and today I felt great. Stubborn Crohnie

I am stubborn because I did not want to admit to myself that I still have Crohn’s. After I had surgery just over 10 years ago, I felt like I could finally have a normal life, I thought that I could be one of the lucky ones that would forever go into remission.
